100M wind measuring tower
MEGATRO can supply, install, test and commissioning of 100m wind measuring tower, which including wind mast data logger, sensors, topography, GPS coordinates, digital photographs, land cover, wind obstacle registrations, and others in accordance with the requirements of IEC standard 61400-12-1 and the technical specification of client. Moreover, we can also try to supply all necessary hardware, software and accessories if client need.
MEGATRO 100M wind measuring towers are specially designed for wind farm and helped use, being able to endure extreme weather condition. All our wind measuring towers meet the design criteria required for all global clients regions and terrain categories. And the wind measuring pole must be located so as to be free from the effect of air disturbance caused by buildings or other structures. Wind measuring towers also widely used by Meteorological Bureau or other application.
Moreover, we also can design and supply a chain link on metallic posts measuring approximately 30m by 30m square or based on client size. This shall be provided with a metal gate and provide a padlock and 2-3 keys.
Our 100M wind measuring towers with specification as follow:
Height: lattice 100m, mounting boom sets provide at 100m, 80m, 60m heights. Each section of the lattice structure shall be of about 3m in length, with one of 1m to make a total of 100m.
Coating: galvanized finish for corrosion protection. The masts shall also be painting if client need.
Painting: the mast shall be marked red/orange with alternative white color or as per client requirements. A red/orange color shall be fixed at the bottom and top of the mast.
Galvanized standard: BS EN1461:1999 or ASTM A 123 or GB/T 13912-2002
Protection: Lightning arrestor system comprising-Metal spike, cooper strip and earth rod conductor
Guy wires: suitable number of guy wire sets, 8-10mm galvanized wire, ultimate load 900 to 2500kg or as per client. Each guy wire should not be jointed. The number of sets should be such that they are adequate to support both static and dynamic (wind) loads specified hereto.
Wind loading capabilities:
Should be meet the required structural integrity standard BS5950:1990 or equivalent national or international standard
55m/s gust wind speeds at the 100m level
Two persons at the top or approx. 180Kgs
Three pairs of light weight (less than 6kg each) sensors at 60m, 80m, and 100m heights
Base plate: each lattice mast to be accompanied by a base plate complete with its mounting kits. The base plate should be designed with a structural integrity to accommodate the weight of 100m tower mast and accessories and gust wind speeds of 50m/s and allow relocation of the towers mast to another site of choice without damaging it. The base plate should be a hinged type or as per client requirements.
The areas to be fenced using chain link on metallic posts measures approximately 30m by 30mm square and shall be provide with a metal gate measuring 2m*3m and shall be provide with a padlock and 3 keys for each site.
1 set of a suitable and appropriate tower erection equipment or gin pole kits, for erecting the masts shall be supplied where applicable. The gin pole kit shall comprise all the necessary equipment including pole, winches, pulleys, security ropes and other accessories , e.g the climbing safety harness required for erecting the masts being supplied. These kits are f or the use of the employer for relocating the masts in future and should not be considered as per client equipment.
The range is available in four-legs, three-legs, guyed monopole or other shape as per client design. Standard mounting heights from 6 to 10m, even to be designed as per client
